The Fashion World Talent Awards, which has generated tremendous excitement
amongst professionals in the fashion industry as well as interest of the general
community in the past few months, will soon end on a high note. The event has
successfully become a proving ground for fashion talents from Hong Kong and
the Mainland where they can demonstrate their outstanding creativity. I also see
contestants learning from each other through competition in their pursuit for design
excellence. This is what the competition is all about.
I congratulate the Hong Kong Apparel Society for launching the inaugural Fashion
World Talent Awards with such success, and wish contestants a most enjoyable
experience.
