Fashion industry has a long history in Hong Kong. Our apparel designs have been
selling all over the world, and many of our fashion designers have excelled in the
international stage. But we must continue to move forward and scale new height. It
is exciting to see the Hong Kong Apparel Society taking the initiative to organise the
inaugural Fashion World Talent Awards which will not only provide an incentive for
practitioners in the field to strive their best, but also showcase our upcoming design
force. This competition will be an inspiring experience for all the participants as well
as the community at large, and will help spur the further development of our fashion
industry.
